The Selenium 18WFH1P 18" woofer is designed for use in professional applications and it was exclusively developed to use in folded horn box. The great sound efficiency is due to the excellent combination of the different components. The cone manufactured with long fiber pulp together with a surround of impregnated fabric give the moving system great stability, high yield and low distortion. The voice coil is made of high temperature wire, wound on fiberglass former. A reinforced aluminum injected frame is effective in absorbing mechanical shocks and acts as a heat sink without interfering with the magnetic field. The use of highly resistant adhesives guarantees optimal cohesion and durability of components. |
